Content Writer with AI Prompt Engineering & SEO Expertise

About the Role

We’re looking for 1-2 highly skilled Content Writers who not only excel at crafting engaging, well-structured, and persuasive copy but also understand the power of AI-assisted content creation. This role requires a strong grasp of AI prompt engineering, modern SEO best practices, and the ability to capture subtle local nuances, idioms, and sayings that make content resonate with English-speaking audiences.

The ideal candidate is both creative and data-driven—capable of using AI tools strategically to scale content production without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and write high-quality SEO-friendly content (website copy, blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, product descriptions, guides).
• Develop and refine AI prompts to generate accurate, on-brand, and engaging content.
• Edit and rework AI-generated drafts for clarity, flow, and cultural authenticity.
• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and implement SEO best practices, including on-page optimisation, search intent alignment, keyword integration, internal linking, and schema considerations.
• Adapt writing tone and style to match diverse audiences and sectors.
• Conduct industry/topic research to produce authoritative, original, and trustworthy content.
• Collaborate with marketing, SEO, and design teams to align content strategy with campaign objectives.
• Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and style guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Exceptional fluency in English (native-level proficiency, with awareness of idioms, regional nuances, and cultural references).
• Proven background in content writing across multiple formats (blogs, websites, whitepapers, ad copy, thought leadership).
• Hands-on experience with AI prompt engineering to optimise outputs from large language models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of modern SEO strategies, including E-E-A-T principles, semantic search, topical authority, and competitive content analysis.
• Ability to synthesise complex topics into compelling, easy-to-understand copy.
• Experience editing and fact-checking AI-generated drafts for accuracy and originality.
• Knowledge of search intent mapping and how to align content with buyer journey stages.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with structured data and on-page technical SEO.
• Knowledge of search intent copywriting
• Prior experience writing for specific niches (travel, real estate, eComm, B2B, SaaS, etc.).
